RNC threatens CNN over Clinton documentary

Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus is threatening both CNN and NBC - saying his party won't participate in any 2016 primary debates on either network if the networks don't drop plans for programs about possible Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

The problem?

Here at CNN, the planned program comes from the CNN Films division. Not the news arm. Same idea at NBC. Their mini-series is being produced by NBC Entertainment. Not NBC News.

CNN, NBC move forward on Hillary Clinton projects

No one has seen either film yet. So is a boycott perhaps a little premature?
