Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus is threatening both CNN and NBC - saying his party won't participate in any 2016 primary debates on either network if the networks don't drop plans for programs about possible Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
The problem?
Here at CNN, the planned program comes from the CNN Films division. Not the news arm. Same idea at NBC. Their mini-series is being produced by NBC Entertainment. Not NBC News.

A black student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington says he was threatened by several white students who yelled racial slurs at him.
But instead of getting mad, Brent Campbell decided to do something very different.

An amber alert is in effect in Southern California for 16-year-old Hanna Anderson and her 8-year-old brother Ethan.
Their mother, Christina Anderson was found dead in a burned home Sunday, along with the body of a child which has not be identified.
A massive manhunt is now underway for the suspected killer, James Lee Dimaggio, who was the owner of the home and authorities believe one or both of the children may be with him.

Federal authorities have charged several people, including militia leader Ahmed Abu Khattalah. It's important to note the suspects have been charged but they have not been arrested.
