Nearly a year after the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, CNN’s Erin Burnett looks back at the night that took the lives of four Americans including Ambassador Chris Stevens. With special reports from CNN senior international correspondent Arwa Damon and chief national correspondent John King, Burnett revisits the night of the attack, the U.S. military response, the latest on the investigation, and the political firestorm in Washington D.C.
In the special, Arwa Damon returns to Benghazi and interviews one of the suspects in the attack – Ahmed Abu Khattala – who has yet to be interviewed by the U.S. government. Damon’s reporting has caused outrage among many GOP lawmakers who asked in a letter sent to FBI Director James Comey "How come the FBI isn't doing this and yet CNN is?"
In addition to Damon’s interview, Burnett speaks to the families of Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith and Ambassador Stevens.
