U.S. breaks code in al Qaeda message signaling imminent threat

CNN has learned U.S. intelligence officials intercepted communications signalling an imminent terrorist attack on Americans.

Those intercepts led to the unprecedented closing of 19 U.S. embassies and consulates around the world.
