The truth about marijuana: Bridging the gap between health care and hippies

Americans can't seem to come to a consensus on pot.

Why?

Maybe it's because we can't decide on what it's used for.

I honestly do not see any more of a nexus between cannabis and other drugs than alcohol and other drugs, in fact I would say it is less. I have heard fart more hurtful ways for the government to separate us from our money in the last month.

Look guys, it's not that complicated. Look at alcohol: it can be used in medicine (tinctures, very popular and historical way to take herbs, including cannabis) and as a party drug (beer, wine, spirits, etc). The 'missing link' you are looking for between 'hippies' and 'healthcare' is called HERBALISM, an ancient and living practice of healing the bodies' deficiencies and maladies using mostly plants, but also mushrooms, clays, minerals and all manner of breathing, meditation and moving techniques. The 'hippies' aren't something new, they are and have always been the expression of the alternative to the Imperialist and evermore Monopolistic Pharmakleptocracy known as 'Western orthodox medicine'.

How about CNN actually call it what it is Cannabis. Stop calling it pot and making lame jokes. This mass media portrays it like a joke. Legalization is not a joke. People who are hurting no one are being put into jail everyday because of bad drug policy that isn't based in science.

I can't help you with the missing joint (your joke from this segment) but I would like to try to help find the missing link between health care and hippies. Try my website eldertom.com then the section called ADHD and me, where I explain why I think ADHD is the brain chemistry of artists and such perhaps also hippies. Also there is a section called 'medical marijuana' that explains the weaknesses created by dreaming all of the time and that pot is useful reducing stress.

I don't believe any polls on pot use, like most other polls... although, I have more confidence in CNN than any other news). Follow the money...I no longer feel our government can govern, most congressmen are out of touch and primarily worried about covering their gilded posteriors. In response to market trends: why not spin/make a 'Wheel of Misfortune' with a few variables every day...probably just as believable....maybe better for Jimmy Fallon material...what ever. watch you every day.
