It's been just over a month since Detroit became the biggest U.S. city ever to file for bankruptcy and as our Poppy Harlow found out, human beings aren't the only motor city residents who are feeling the sting.
On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina forever changed the Crescent City when it made landfall and left hundreds dead and more than 200-thousand homes damaged.
Many returned and rebuilt. But still 8-years later some residents are still in a fight for their homes.
