At least seven dead, more than 1000 await rescue from Colorado flooding

Nearly a thousand people are in desperate need of food and water in Colorado. Their communities cut off for days now by the raging flood waters which have swallowed roads and devastated 17 counties.

At least seven people are dead and officials warn that number could rise.
