Special prosecutor appointed in Missouri teen rape case

A special prosecutor has been appointed to re-investigate allegations that a 17 year-old high school football player raped a 14 year-old girl after getting her drunk.

The original prosecutor said Daisy Coleman's appearance Outfront – when she said she was willing to testify – caused him to re-open the case. Daisy claims charges against Matt Barnett were originally dropped because of political pressure.

The prosecutor says the reason was a lack of evidence.

Bull run craze sweeping America

Move over NASCAR, a new sport is surging in America.

Thousands turn out for "The Great Bull Run" in Conyers, Georgia on Saturday - the second event of its kind in the United States.

Two people were injured in the first event in Virginia in late August, but with more runs already planned, it's proving to be a major draw for adrenaline junkies across the country.

Report: NSA intercepted more than 70 million calls in France

America is spying on one of its closest allies.

President Obama spoke to French President Francois Hollande after the U.S. ambassador to France was summoned to meet with French officials about new allegations the National Security Agency intercepted more than 70 million phone calls in France last December.

The report comes on the heels of reports the U.S. was hacking into the email account of former Mexican President Felipe Calderon.

Obama defends healthcare.gov fiasco: "nobody is more frustrated... than I am"

President Obama downplayed the problems plaguing his signature achievement Obamacare Monday at the Rose Garden.

"There's no sugarcoating it. The website has been too slow, people have been getting stuck during the application process. And I think it's fair to say that nobody is more frustrated by that than I am - precisely because the product is good, I want the cash registers to work. I want the checkout lines to be smooth. So I want people to be able to get this great product."
