Imagine if superheroes could fight in war, armed with the ability to repel bullets and communicate with orbiting drones to locate the enemy.
If it sounds like something out of a movie, well, it is. It's also an IDEA that could hit the battlefield as early as next year.

They're always doing these infographics about the cost of being certain superheroes. The ones on Iron Man & Batman were cool, but the one on Wolverine was kind of disappointing. I mean, when an adamantium skeleton is your primary cost driver, the cost of a leather bomber jacket & a box of cigars aren't exactly material.
Did anyone else notice that the Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit is also an acronym – TALOS? Talos being the mythical Greek bronze man (i.e. robot) which was built by Daedalus or Hephaestus to protect the island of Crete. I wonder if someone at the Department of Defense or DARPA racked their brains to come up with that or was it a happy coincidence.
