Report: Richie Incognito told to toughen up Jonathan Martin
The Sun Sentinel newspaper reports Miami Dolphins coaches asked offensive lineman Richie Incognito to toughen-up teammate Jonathan Martin.
Richie Incognito says he's 'weathering the storm'
Martin left the team abruptly last week, and reports have surfaced that he was being bullied by Incognito.
Incognito has been suspended pending an investigation, but another team member says it doesn't add up.

TJ on Sunday NFL Countdown made a great point about how disappointing it's been to see many in the league try to demonize Martin equally to the harm that was done to him, but the strongest argument was probably from Cris Carter: the NFL policy is that all employees, from the players to the hostesses to the water boy have the right to work in a respectful workplace, so "when you swipe your ID to enter the gate, you agree to the company policy." Also, the recent reports about the extent to which they covered up the incident Incognito harrassing & physically assaulting the female volunteer at the golf game is telling.
Personally, I think it goes back to the coaches. If Martin didn't feel comfortable enough to go to his coach about this, it's pretty bad.
No wonder the Dolphins are horrible.
Coach Dungy in football, or someone like Coach John Wooden in sports history, would've never allowed this.
These gorillas know what they are getting into when they sign the huge contracts, millions for a 4 to 10 year career.
They are from the current generation, coddled from birth and babied thru life, never having to take any responsibility
or put under any stress. When it is time to grow up, they can't cope with it and either try to avoid it or take the easy way out.. The military used to help them grow up, but since they started crying home to mommy and lowered all the standards, it is cattering to the new generation of wimps.
