Ryan Ferguson freed after murder conviction is thrown out

After ten years in prison for murder, a murder he says he never committed, 29-year-old Ryan Ferguson is a free man.

Last week, an appeals court threw out his 2005 murder conviction, saying the prosecution withheld evidence.

On Tuesday, the Missouri Attorney General announced he won't re-try Ferguson.

Convicted murderer says he was wrongly accused: My life is on the line

Ferguson has spent the past decade in a maximum-security prison for the murder of a local sports journalist.
