Iran rejects U.S. version of nuke deal

Iran lashes out - rejecting the U.S.'s interpretation of the nuclear deal.

According to a spokeswoman for Iran's Foreign Ministry, "What has been released by the website of the White House as a fact sheet is a one-sided interpretation of the agreed text in Geneva ... which is not true."

At the same time, Secretary of State John Kerry is going on a full court assault to sell the deal's talking points to his own party - sending them a video outlining what it's in the deal, and calling for one-on-one consultations.

So what does the Obama administration think about Iran's accusation it is "lying"?

State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki is Outfront.

Prosecutor wants 30 years for Amanda Knox

Amanda Knox should receive a 30-year sentence for the 2007 killing of British exchange student Meredith Kercher, an Italian prosecutor said at her retrial Tuesday.

Amanda Knox retrial: Prosecutor calls for 30-year sentence

Knox's original conviction was overturned in 2011 because of a "lack of evidence." But Italy's Supreme Court decided last year to retry the case because it claims the jury didn't consider all the evidence.

Is Pres. Obama dragging down the Democratic party?

Washington (CNN) – What a difference a month makes.

A new CNN/ORC International poll indicates a dramatic turnaround in the battle for control of Congress in next year's midterm elections.

Democrats a month ago held a 50%-42% advantage among registered voters in a generic ballot, which asked respondents to choose between a Democrat or Republican in their congressional district without identifying the candidates.

CNN/ORC poll: Democrats lose 2014 edge following Obamacare uproar

That result came after congressional Republicans appeared to overplay their hand in the bitter fight over the federal government shutdown and the debt ceiling.

But the Democratic lead has disappeared. A new CNN/ORC poll indicates the GOP now holds a 49%-47% edge.

The new survey was conducted last week and released Tuesday.

The 10-point swing follows a political uproar over Obamacare, which included the botched rollout of HealthCare.gov and controversy over insurance policy cancelations due primarily to the new health law.

Officials say the spacecraft will release a six-wheeled lunar rover equipped with four cameras and two mechanical legs to dig up soil samples. It will patrol the moon's surface for at least three months.
