Report: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's uncle executed

The uncle of North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un, has been executed for treason, according to the North Korean state-run news agency.

The report also says a special military tribunal found Kim's uncle, Jang Song Thaek guilty, calling him a "traitor for all ages" and a "despicable human scum" who was "worse than a dog."

Jang Song Thaek was the vice chairman of North Korea's top military body and considered the second most-powerful man in the country.
