Google buys robotics firm with strong ties to U.S. military

Google, the tech giant is now the proud owner of Boston Dynamics, a company that's been building robots for the Pentagon for years.

Google moves into military robotics

Robots that can crawl, walk, run and jump. Google, which started out as a search engine is known for its wild projects.

  • Self Driving cars
  • Google Glasses
  • WiFi Balloons
  • Barges

Google's purchase of Boston Dynamics, makes it the seventh robotics firm over the past six months.
