"Duck Dynasty" star compares homosexuality to bestiality

The patriarch of the "Duck Dynasty" is taking on what he says is one of society's greatest sins – homosexuality.

In an interview with GQ, Phil Robertson put gay people in the same category as "drunks," "terrorists" and "prostitutes" and compared homosexuality to bestiality.

But will his words hurt one of the most popular TV shows in America?

Tom Foreman has the story.

UPDATE 8:00PM: Phil Robertson has been indefinitely suspended by A&E for his comments.

Everyone is going after this man for answering a question honestly and being truthful about his beliefs. This nation was built on freedom of speech, why should he be condemned for using that freedom?

I hope the Robertsons stand behind Phil and his opinion regardless of if they agree with him or not. Phil gave his opinion and sticks to his beliefs. This is sbout being able to excercise your right to freedom of speech.
