Ship stranded in Antarctica

Seventy-four people remain stranded in the frozen waters off of Antarctica, waiting to be airlifted.

The passengers and crew aboard a Russian research ship sent out a distress signal five days ago; several attempts to get them out with special icebreaker ships have been unsuccessful.

The Russian Foreign Ministry says the trapped passengers will be rescued by helicopter once the bad weather clears, but time is running out.

CNN's Sunlen Serfaty has the story.
