Santa Claus came late this Christmas for UPS and FedEx customers across the United States, with widespread complaints of packages arriving late.
The companies say the late Thanksgiving, combined with the fallout from an ice storm earlier this month could be to blame for holding up deliveries.

A high-tech security system at Newark airport apparently wasn't enough to nab a cross-dressing man, who climbed a fence late last night and wandered across two runways.
The 300 million dollar system - called the "Perimeter Intrusion Detection System" - uses cameras to monitor the airport's fences, but the man in drag made it all the way to a terminal before he was caught.

Mediaite's Joe Concha pick for biggest blunder of the year would have to go Martin Bashir for his incendiary comments about Sarah Palin. Concha says the problem was his comments, which were scripted - he highlighted the fact that the segment producer, executive producer and copy editor approved Bashir's comments.
"We the jury find George Zimmerman not guilty."
Founder of Inspire52.com Mel Robbins disagrees with Concha saying the handling of the George Zimmerman – Trayvon Martin case was this year's biggest blunder - pointing to the prosecutor overcharging the case.
