Friend of slain Catholic priest: Community 'shocked' by his murder
Police have arrested a man suspected of killing a beloved Catholic priest.
Gary Lee Bullock was taken into custody and charged with the murder of Pastor Eric Freed.
Beloved Catholic priest found slain in California church rectory
The 56-year-old priest was found dead inside the rectory at St. Bernard Church on Wednesday after he failed to show up to morning mass.
William Herbrechtsmeier, who has known Reverend Freed for the past seven years and taught with him at Humboldt State University, is OutFront.
