'How I Met Your Mother' exploiting Asian stereotypes for laughs?
How I met your Mother has met the wrath of viewers after a Kung-Fu tribute gone wrong.
Throughout Monday's show - the all-white cast played the role of martial art "teachers. The actors dressed in Asian attire and spoke with stereotypical accents.
The gag quickly lead viewers to create the hashtag – "How I met your Racism."

Good show, but the writers and actors just were short sighted and/or just didn't give a rats ass about the Asian community's feelings. Racism is WRONG period against any culture! It's BULLYING!

Remember Beverly Hillbillies? TV has been making fun of people's accents, stereotypes forever. You don't see Texas asking Hollywood for an apology. You'll find most Asians do not care because they are highly educated and successful and don't have inferiority complex.

"larynx" – first of all, get an education on how to use proper English and to do away with gutter talk! One's writing and speech demonstrates a person's level of maturity, knowledge, and respect for others. More importantly, writing and speech demonstrates a person's INTEGRITY!
Second, Ms. Park was not saying nor implying that the show was racist! Just an episode that went wrong!
