Michael Smerconish: Rand Paul's attacks on Bill Clinton won't 'sell in a general election'

The  bridge scandal plaguing New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's administration is about to grow a little wider.

The co-chairs of the state committee investigating the matter say they're going to issue 18 additional new subpoenas Tuesday.

Fourteen are being issued to people or offices who have not previously been subpoenaed in this case, including some people who even work in his office.

So how bad is this for Christie?

Smerconish's debut on CNN as the host of a new weekly program that will air live on Saturday mornings.

That's in addition to his duties as host of the The Michael Smerconish Program on SiriusXM Radio and columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
