Attempted murder charges for mom who drove van with kids into ocean

The woman who drove her three young children into the ocean has been arrested and charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated child abuse.

We're now hearing the 911 call Ebony Wilkerson's sister made just hours before Wilkerson drove her children into the water. In it, she details her attempts to keep Wilkerson and the children safe and mentions her sister was abused by her husband.

The 911 operator said she was going to send an officer to the home, but it was too late. Wilkerson had already left with the kids in the van.

Officials say 32-year-old Wilkerson is 27-and-a-half weeks pregnant with her fourth child, and intentionally locked the doors of her minivan, raised the windows, drove her children directly into the water and tried to prevent rescuers from helping them.

CNN has reached out to Wilkerson's husband but have not heard back.
