I was watching the Monday evening OutFront with Erin Burnett. She made a statement about an upcoming segment regarding Trayvon Martin. She referred to Trayvon's shooting as "murder of Trayvon Martin". Does CNN and Ms. Burnett have information from a more recent trial of his death? The only verdict that I am aware of is "not guilty". ergo no murder. I am very disappointed in her reference. Whether or not you believe Trayvon was murdered is irrelevent when reporting news. She would have been accurate in describing his death as a shooting death, et al. Murder? Not appropriate at all.
