The director of the CIA is leaving open the possibility that terrorism may have been why Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, with 227 passengers on board, vanished without a trace.
It is the same belief that quickly followed the explosion of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of New York's Long Island. That crash in July of 1996 killed 230 passengers and crew.
In the days that followed the Flight 800 crash, scores of eyewitnesses came forward, describing what they said was a streak of light moving toward the jet shortly before it burst into flames.
