Four weeks since Flight 370 went missing: How can you lose a plane?

It was four weeks ago that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared.

Malaysia Airlines continues to fly the same route - from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing - though the airliner changed the flight number from 370 to 318.

But who else is in the sky at that time of night?

Since hearing Indonesia has not confirmed whether or not MH370 landed or was otherwise spotted in their country, I have been wondering if the plane might have crashed there.

Mount Salak was dubbed by the Jakarta Post as "An Airplane Graveyard" due to the fact that there have been 7 plane crashes that have occurred there between 2002-2012. Turbulence and unstable weather make it an especially dangerous area for aircraft.
