Officials say the teenage stowaway who survived a five-hour flight from San Jose to Maui was trying to get to Somalia to see his mother.
The 15-year-old is believed to have made that trip inside the wheel well of a jumbo jet with low oxygen and subzero temperatures.

But how he survived is raising many questions.
Dr. Armand Dorian treated a high-altitude stowaway survivor in 2000. In interview with CNN's Erin Burnett, Dorian explains how the teen was able to survive the flight.
