There is more evidence Iraq and Syria's borders are blurring after Syrian warplanes carried out a cross-border attack on Iraqi towns, killing at least 57 civilians, ccording to local officials.
A U.S. official also says Iran is flying drones over Iraq and providing guns to the Iraqi government.
This comes as Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki snubbed the U.S.'s push for him to share power. Al-Maliki rejects forming a unity government to be formed under Iraq's constitution.
CNN's Erin Burnett discusses the Iraqi conflict with Congressman Mac Thornberry (R-Texas) who is vice chairman of the House Armed Services Committee. Thornberry attended a closed-door briefing with General David Petraeus on Capitol Hill.
