Sunday marks the one year anniversary of the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial - a verdict that triggered protests across the country, and a trial that captivated the nation with heated debates over race and guns.
After more than 16 hours of deliberations over two days, a Florida jury declared Zimmerman not guilty verdict in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed teenager.
Zimmerman trial: Where are they now?
Zimmerman admitted shooting Martin, but claimed he feared for his life.
Many Americans sat glued to their television sets, through nearly four weeks of testimony that included a witness who captivated many viewers: Trayvon's friend, Rachel Jeantel.
CNN's David Mattingly recently caught up with Jeantel and has her story.
Zimmerman was – and is – a nutcase with a gun. And that pretty much sums it up. And he's still out there. With a gun.
Zimmerman claimed to have been on his back when he shot Martin. There is also a police video of Zimmerman demonstrating how he had pulled out his weapon to shoot Martin, where he reaches behind for his weapon and pantomimes pulling it out and firing.
There's a serious problem with that claim. In order for a man laying on his back to pull out a gun tucked away on his rear right hip, his elbow would have to sink into the dirt at least a foot or so in order to pull it off. I have never understood how a man who ignored police instructions to stay away could be so in fear for his life that he approached the "suspect", anyway. It only makes sense if the gun was already drawn, because it is impossible for him to drawn it out laying flat on his back in the midst of a struggle.
Hi all, for any of you still interested in the Zimmerman case I encourage you to take a mere 2 minutes to watch these two new videos I've made. One sets out to prove it was Zimmerman screaming, once and for all. The other is a retrospective on the complete media malpractice which took place on this case:

Zimmerman is a cold-blooded killer and should be rotting in jail! If that were my child he killed, I would have a fully automatic AK-47 with a 200 round magazine and be waiting outside of his house – BANG BANG HE BE DEAD n I BE HAPPY
Then how would you be any better than you portray George Zimmerman?
If you can't see the difference between murdering an unarmed child, and murdering the man who murdered that child, then you're the last person who should lecturing anyone about morality.
