Family of black teen shot by white cop speaks out: "My life is empty now"

Protesters are angry at the death of a black teen shot and killed by a white police officer. Thursday night's protests were violent and protesters burned at least one American flag

Protesters hit the streets Thursday after an off-duty St. Louis officer opened fire on a 18-year-old black man, killing him. The officer fired his weapon 17 times, authorities say.

The 18-year-old was armed, and he fired on the officer first, St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said.

The parents of the dead teen Vonderrit Myers are speaking out exclusively to our Jason Carroll.
