Ferguson police have launched an investigation into whether Michael Brown's stepfather, Louis Head, intended to incite riots.
In an emotional outburst shortly after the grand jury's decision not to indict Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown was announced, Head yelled to the crowd, "Burn this motherf-er down!" and "Burn this bitch down!"
Police investigating if Michael Brown's stepfather intended to incite riot
Lesley McSpadden, Michael Brown’s mother, defended husband’s words saying
"He just spoke out of anger. It's one thing to speak, and it's a different thing to act. He did not act. He just spoke out of anger...When you're that hurt and the system has did you this wrong, you may say some things as well. We've all spoke out of anger before."
Later that night, angry protesters burned down several Ferguson businesses and vehicles. Could he be charged with attempting to incite those riots?
George Howell reports from Ferguson.
Former NYPD officer Daniel Bongino and CNN Tonight anchor Don Lemon are OutFront to discuss the comments.
"He just spoke out of anger. It’s one thing to speak, and it’s a different thing to act. He did not act. He just spoke out of anger…"
So what? I don't see why it would matter if HE acted or not. People who heard it did and innocent people lost their stores, therefor the idiot incited arson and a full-on riot.
On a side note, at least now everyone who wants to see knows who Mike Brown learned his thuggery from. Of course none of the rioters read the evidence. They're still pushing the hands up don't shoot myth. Unbelievable. Does anyone possess critical thinking skills anymore?
