Uber’s growing pains

Police in Boston are charging an Uber driver with rape, kidnapping and assault for an alleged attack on a woman who used the company’s app to call for a ride. An Uber spokeman calls the attack a “despicable crime.” It is just one of the serious problems the company is dealing with.
Uber is now worth more than $40 billion. Dan Simon looks at some of the growing pains that come with Uber’s explosive success.

Mystery surrounds the spy released by Cuba

A Cuban who spied for the U.S. is back on American soil after serving nearly two decades in prison. He was the U.S. intelligence agent released for three Cuban agents in a prisoner exchange. Despite the very public homecoming of Alan Gross, U.S. officials have not yet released the name of this Cuban national. Very few people knew he existed, let alone his sacrifice to the United States. Joe Johns has the latest on his story.
