Chrysler refuses to recall 2.7 million jeeps
A source tells our Poppy Harlow that automaker Chrysler will fight a potential recall in court if it has to. It all started when the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration told Chrysler it wants nearly 3 million older model Jeep Grand Cherokee and Liberty SUVs to be recalled.

The regulator says the gas tanks can spill gas when the vehicle is hit from behind, creating a fire hazard.
But in a rare move, Chrysler is refusing the recall them, saying the SUVs are safe.
