Eric Frein, the accused cop-killer on the run for seven weeks in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains is behind bars - charged with murder. Prosecutors say they will seek the death penalty.
Frein arrived at court this morning under heavy police guard as onlookers shouted him down.

(CNN) - After nearly seven weeks on the run, suspected cop killer Eric Matthew Frein is in custody, Pennsylvania State Police spokeswoman Connie Devens said Thursday.
"I can confirm that we have taken Eric Frein into custody. Further information will be released at a later time. No further information will be released or confirmed at this time," she said in an email to reporters.
According to a federal law enforcement source, Frein was caught hiding at an airport in the Poconos in Pennsylvania. He was arrested by U.S. marshals, the source said.
Frein was taken into custody without incident, according to a second source. The fugitive was armed, and at least one weapon was recovered, a third source said.
Frein, 31, is suspected in the September 12 ambush shooting that left Cpl. Bryon Dickson dead and Trooper Alex T. Douglass wounded outside the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Blooming Grove.
A student who witnesses say was the homecoming prince opened fire in his high school cafeteria, killing a young woman and wounding four other students before turning the gun on himself.
Three of those students are in critical condition Friday night - all with serious head wounds. CNN is learning more about the shooter who is said to be freshman Jaylen Fryberg. Students say he was very popular, played football and was recently named to the homecoming court.

(CNN) - A man carrying a metal hatchet charged at four New York police officers Thursday afternoon, hitting one officer in the right arm and another in the head, the city's police commissioner said.
The two officers who were not struck by the suspect shot and killed him. He has not been identified by name, but is believed to be about 32-years-old, according to police Commissioner Bill Bratton
The police officer who was struck in the head remains in critical but stable condition.
Authorities are looking to see if the unprovoked attack, in the New York borough of Queens, is tied to recent calls by radicals to attack military and police officers, law enforcement officials say.
Nineteen people were arrested Monday in protests over police conduct in the St. Louis area. Noted author, activist and professor Cornel West was among those arrested during a march.
St. Louis mother grieves for son killed in shootout with off-duty officer
Numerous demonstrations were held throughout the area in response to the recent killings of two black teens by white police officers.
In St. Louis, Vonderitt Myers was killed by an off-duty officer on Wednesday. Police say Myers was armed and fired first.
