Scientists use robots to spy on penguins

Why would researchers in Antarctica use fake penguin robots to fool real penguins?

It's to save the real ones from the stress of being exposed to humans. And when we say they fell for the fakes, we mean they fell to the point of trying to form a couple - though CNN's Jeanne Moos reports the robots still have to work on their waddle.
