5 Epic lip synching videos that won the web

By now, you've probably seen this incredible version of Celine Dion's "All By Myself"  recorded by a guy stuck (alone) in the Las Vegas airport. But it's not the first time someone won the Internet by lip synching.

Here are our five favorites.

"I Want It That Way" –– Backstreet Boys (2005)

Using a low quality web cam in their dorm room, the Back Dorm Boys, a Chinese duo, recorded this version of the Backstreet Boys classic.

"I Want It That Way" - Backstreet Boys (2009)

A different take on the same song, five office dwellers (and one stick-in-the-mud) show us just how fun work can be.

"I Gotta Feeling" - Black Eyed Peas (2009)

In 2009, schools began challenging other schools to lip dub contests. This version of the Black Eyed Peas party classic – performed by dozens of students, all over the school – went viral almost immediately.

"You Make My Dreams" - Hall & Oates (2009)

Different school. Different song. Same awesome result. And they did it in reverse.

"You Bring Me Joy" - Anita Baker (2009); "Can't Tell Me Nothing" - Kanye West (2009); "Not About Love" (2009) - Fiona Apple

Whether he's covering Baker, Kanye or Fiona Apple, Zach Galifianakis' music videos are always fresh, funny and memorable.

What do you think of our choices? Any great ones we missed? Which song would you do? Which song do you think Erin Burnett should try? Let us know in the comments section below.

Beer company pushes for new U.S. Holiday

How would you like an extra day off work? Well, you could get it if Budweiser has its way.

The beer company has petitioned the White House to make Opening Day of the major league baseball season a federal holiday.

So far, the petition has picked up more than 45,000 signatures – from across the country – and even though they'll need 100,000 by March 26th for the White House to even consider it – Budweiser is pretty confident.

But, do we really need another holiday in this country?

There are arguments for both sides.

Because, in addition to the 10 existing federal holidays, there are also a number of state holidays – official and unofficial – so some American workers get as many as a dozen holidays each year. And that's not even including paid vacation days.

Of course, compared to other countries, 10 federal holidays is nothing.

Take a look at this list of public holidays in other countries. As you can see the U.S. is way down on the list.

So is it time for a new federal holiday? Should it be Opening Day? Let us know in the comments section below.

NEW WORD ORDER: Do you have a “Kardashian Phone”?

NEW WORD ORDER: Do you have a “Kardashian Phone”?

Language is power and when someone invents or uses a new word or term gaining power, we recognize it.

New York Times columnist Nick Bilton recently tweeted that the gold-colored iPhone 5 was, at one time, nicknamed “The Kardashian Phone” by Apple employees due to Kim Kardashian’s affection for gold phones.

The term has picked up steam today with a number of columnists and bloggers re-tweeting Bilton and using the term themselves.

Before the gold iPhone model’s launch, some were worried the color would be a “turnoff,” however, the model has since gone on to be the most sought after design.

Like the reality star herself, the phone has become popular – and powerful – despite what critics (and your friends) have said publicly.

What do you think of the “Kardashian Phone” label? Do you own “The Kardashian Phone”? What do you think of Kim Kardashian? Do you watch her show(s)? Do you make purchases/decisions based on what popular and successful people are doing? What’s one fad/trend you have followed this year?

Let us know in the comment section below.
